1.Why book The Tribute Show? Are they the right band for my event?

The Tribute Show is a band like no other. They are the ultimate tribute show performing a non-stop live set to all the greatest rock and pop legends of all time. Offering great value for money they stylishly provide everything needed to bring all the class and entertainment of the theatre to your event while generating a great party atmosphere. The Tribute Show are a one-off and proud to be revolutionising the tribute, corporate, party & wedding events market. The Tribute Show is the perfect band for any occasion.

2.How long do the band perform for?

Clients can choose from a single 60 minute show or 2 x 45 minute sets with an intermission. Dependent on which show is being booked, a non-stop 90 minute extravaganza may also be feasible. These times are negotiable if you feel they are inappropriate for your needs but experience suggests these formats to be the most successful. The band also offers various options for background and reception music during your event. See Event Packages

3.How far is the band prepared to travel?

Any time, any place, anywhere.
The band performs 200 dates a year on average so travel is part of their lifestyle, performing the length and breadth of Great Britain and Europe. For functions further afield, they would need to discuss your exact requirements.

4.Do the band have their own sound and lighting equipment?

Yes. The Tribute Show always travel with their own 10,000 watt sound system and breathtaking lighting show. There is no need for you to hire any additional equipment as they can provide everything you could possibly need.

5.What time do the band arrive to set up?

The band’s crew ideally like to arrive by 4pm. This gives them ample time to set up, sound check and be out of the way for the guests’ arrival at the venue. An alternative set-up time is possible but the band would require sufficient notice prior to your event date for necessary arrangements to be made.

6.How long does it take the band to set up?

Typically it takes 2 hours to set up and sound check. If you are worried about time constraints then please contact the group. Shorter installations times can be possible although some allowances may need to be made regarding equipment for the show

7.Does the band have insurance?

The band has £10,000,000 public liability insurance and electrical equipment is annually tested to conform to United Kingdom PAT test certifications. Method Statements, risk assessments and Health and Safety policy are all available on request. Prevention and a safe working method is the making of any professional working act.

8.Can we request songs and playlists?

Hopefully you have already selected a show that best suits your requirements but if there are specific songs or artists you would like to hear then please use the enquiries form to make your request. The band will gladly try to accommodate, however, please be aware that costume changes can affect the successful running of the show and must be taken into consideration.  Although there are no promises, every effort will be made to suit your needs where there is no risk of compromising the integrity of the show.

9.On the night, what happens when the band aren’t performing?

There are a few options available for the intervals, before or after The Tribute Show’s performance. Prior arrangement can be made for the provision of background or disco music throughout the evening. Let them know what music you would like to hear or alternatively arrange your own playlists on an ipod or mp3 player. See Event Packages for all options.

10.Can we come and see the band perform live?

80% of The Tribute Show’s performances are strictly private events. Under general circumstances they cannot invite you to one of these events and likewise they would not dream of inviting prospective clients to yours. There are a number of charity events and live music restaurants / venues that are available some of which are ticket events. If coming to preview the band please take into account the type of show and package that you will be viewing.

11.Are there any hidden costs?

No, the fee your quoted is the fee you pay. All quotations made will however include VAT which will be clearly marked on all invoices and documentation regarding your booking or enquiry.

12.How much space does the band require?

This very much depends on the show. Ideally the staging area needs to be 9 metres x  4 metres although smaller stages can be accommodated. Please look at their guidelines on the specifications page for more details.

13.What does the band require?

The Tribute Show do not have an outrageous list of requirements or ‘band rider’. A secure room to change and leave personal belongings is requested and also serves as somewhere for band members to remain discreetly anonymous before showtime. Refreshments are not expected although soft drinks and maybe a light bite to eat are always very much appreciated if available. The band does not require alcoholic beverages.
